I think I've asked this before but can't find the answer - I've got a few suggestions of hotels for Spa, but would prefer to stay somewhere there are other grads (I'm a social animal and the tent on circuit just isn't going to cut it in October in Spa!). Where's everybody staying?

Mick, I like where you are going with the speech thing, but it turns out that father of the bride does not give a speech in American wedding tradition (or is my daughter just telling me that?). Not sure why I need to be there really!

Bob - LOT will allow you to swap the trackday at Spa. They normally try and sell the places to those on their reserve list first but I do know they plan to make a big weekend of it, so selling vacant places will be no issue at all especially as a number of the Elise Trophy guys havent booked any track time yet. Probably best to contact them first re the reserves

Funny, that looks exactly like my car after Andy had removed all the worn-out bits. Though he did mention that it could really do with a long front, but I "might" get away with it.

And looking at the podium - just how do you manage to enter your debit card number, issue number, security number, expiry date, name on card and all that in a second or even 3 seconds? Its not possible. Something you lot know that I don't quite clearly.

thanks all - might give CC another call then and enquire about race glass only. I don't run my car on the road, so MOT issue not a problem.
On a seperate note - just received this e-mail link in case anyone thought the Jacko jokes had run dry (if it works)

May be wrong, but I think it'll pass an MOT just not an SVA test. Certainly I've never had a problem with MOTs and "race" glass. Ben Rockey usually carries spare screens if you want to wait until the next meeting rather than having CC post one.

Will - Caterham do sell glass on its own (part number 76050) but it is a 'race part' only as it won't pass an MOT, you should be able to order it online from their website.
